For therapists and clinicians in private practice
Notes finishedbefore the next client arrives.
The documentation is the job nobody trained you for.
Progress notes, intake summaries, treatment plans. The session is over and the writing is not, and it accumulates until it is being done at nine at night. Speaking it takes the time the writing was taking.

The real friction
“I can't dictate clinical notes. The names and the terminology never come out right.”
That is the correct objection, and it is the one thing general dictation is worst at. A client's surname, a specific modality, a medication — these are exactly the words a recogniser trained on the open internet has the least reason to know.
Fixing them by hand costs more than typing the note would have, which is why most clinicians try dictation once and stop.
This learns the words from what you have already written, so the second week is better than the first and the third month is better than the second.

Recognition runs on your Mac. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you turn sync on, and it is off until you do.
Where it fits
High-value moments.
Progress notes
Speak the note between sessions while the detail is intact, instead of reconstructing six of them after six.
Intake summaries
A first session produces more material than anyone can type live. Say it once afterwards and keep the nuance.
Treatment plans
Goals and interventions in your own clinical language, not flattened into whatever the template offered.
Consultation and supervision notes
Capture the reasoning while it is fresh — the part that is hardest to reconstruct later.
How it works
Three steps. One key.
Press a key. Speak.
One hotkey anywhere on your Mac. No app switching, no mode to remember.
It transcribes on device.
Your voice never leaves your machine. There is no cloud transcription path for it to leave through.
Your words land right.
The names and terms you actually use are already known, so the text arrives finished instead of needing repair.
Privacy
Session contentstays on your machine.
Recognition happens on your Mac. There is no cloud transcription path, so session audio is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and your vocabulary is never pooled with another practitioner's.
⚠ We do not claim to be a HIPAA-compliant service and we will not until it is true and signed. What we can say plainly is what the architecture does: the audio does not leave the device, and the corpus does not sync unless you switch it on.
